Not in order, and I've probably missed someone! Let me know so I can add them (you) to my calendar of people I forgot to send cards to! I love you all and hope that you had fantastic birthdays!

Happy Anniversary to Me
Today is my two year cancer-free anniversary.
I was lucky: I didn't have as tough a time as Lena is having. Didn't have to have chemo and only three radiation treatments. I do have to go in several times a year for a screening and will have to for three more years. But they aren't bad.
Just thought I'd mention it.

Another Pleasant Valley Sunday
Today was a typical Sunday, but for several reasons it just felt a little more special all day long.
1. I attended a broadcast Stake Conference (I guess it's called an area conference now) at the Stake Center (where we used to attend church), saw old friends from the now extinct 28th ward, and listened to the Prophet of God. Now I don't usually comment on that, but it was very special. All the speakers talked about the importance of families and on blessings that come from selfless service. These hit home to me more today for some reason.
2. My wonderful husband cooked another awesome Sunday Dinner. He does so much, works so hard, and still cooks fantastic meals for me every day. Again, very typical, but today it just seemed extra special to me.
3. Two of our nephews who are attending the University of Utah came over for dinner. They do every Sunday, but again special today.
4. Lena and Nik also came over for dinner. They do most Sunday's, and when they don't we miss them. Having them here is always a delight - and very entertaining.
5. Mason had a "friend" over for a meet-the-parents night. She was very nice, and actually had been at the Conference Center for the broadcast Stake Conference!
6. All of my kids were together for dinner. Happens quite often, but warms a mother's heart to have them all here and happy. Makes me all warm and squishy inside.
As I was fixing "go packages" for the boys and Lena and Nik, I was especially thankful to have everyone together. It just felt right.

Another Happy Birthday
Yesterday was my SIL Julie's birthday. How old are you now, Julie? She is such a fun and loving person to be around. Always positive about life.

Bulbs Anyone?
I have tons of Iris around my house. Purple, white and yellow. I've decided to thin them out a bit. If anyone is interested in Iris bulbs, let me know. They are by far the easiest flower I've ever grown. Big beautiful flowers that smell very sweet. I love having them around!
