Catching Up

OK, so I haven't been a really good blogger for awhile. And I'm making no promises to be better, because I know I won't be.

I've been feeling very blessed lately. The first of this year was horrible for my little family. Mark's program at the Community College had been cut, Mason lost his job, I spent a month on a feeding tube, and Lena was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease. I was wondering what we did to make the universe mad at us.

Looking back on all that, I still feel blessed. Mark has been successful in his consulting business. It's taken off really well and we are not any worse off financially than we were last year! Mason has a much better job and has a better outlook on the future. Lena has finished Chemo and is starting to feel normal again. Her hair is even coming back already. My problem has completely healed and I'm feeling good most days. Jeff even has a job and is happy.

I look at my neighbors and members of my ward and see lots of problem much bigger than anything we've dealt with so far. I know that Heavenly Father is watching out for us and keeping us safe and happy. My family is going to be alright.

We may be a little crazy but I like us this way!
