To the Rescue

I just had to share these pictures. I was driving down the road and saw a small crowd of people and a fire engine and wondered what was going on so I stopped and pulled out my camera. The fireman was climbing up to the top of the telephone pole and everyone was looking so worried.

I couldn't see a person stuck up there, or anything strange hanging from the pole or telephone lines, but he grabbed something and came back down the ladder.

Know what it was?

The fireman was rescuing a kitty from the top of the telephone pole! I didn't know that they actually did that, but I now have proof! It really made my day!
