Farewell Dizzy

Such a sweet face! Isn't he cute?
He loves the camera

He likes to say hello

And he's very tall.
Who would believe that such a sweet dog could cause such trouble. He is so smart, and has learned so many things in the few months we've had him. Unfortunately, Dizzy and my sweet Billie could not get along at all. Billie is 12 years old and has broken off all her canine teeth and Dizzy has sharp little baby teeth. Every time they fought, Billie got really hurt. She has had staples in her leg and was always bleeding somewhere. We had Bark Busters come in and evaluate the dogs. They said that sibling rivalry is very hard to fix and they couldn't guarantee that even after we spent the $600 that Dizzy and Billie would get along!
I could not live with that any longer. I advertised Dizzy on KSL.com and a very nice man came to meet him. Dizzy usually hates everyone, but he really liked this guy. Even when he came back the next day to pick him up, Dizzy didn't even bark. He lives alone, is recently retired and looking for a companion. He also has horses! Dizzy will love running with them.
It was very sad putting him in someone else's car and watching them drive away. It almost felt like giving away one of my children. A very bad, bad child! But it was better than taking him back to the Humane Society which was the other option.
So now we have my sweet Billie and cute Crissie. Our house is much quieter, the dogs stay behind the fence, and best of all, I can pet whichever dog I want whenever I want without someone getting beat up!

I am glad you found Dizzy a good home. He will be a great companion for that man. And I am glad that the other two get along so well. Crissie is so cute and Billie is so loving that it will be much more fun from now on.
